Big Poppa E and The E Band, South Florida's premiere blues band,
is releasing its first CD called "LIVE" September 11th, 2009.
Comprised of veteran perfomers, George Caldwell on bass, Sean
"Birdman" Gould and Darrell Raines on lead guitar, keyboards and
vocals, Robert Slade LeMont and Ernesto Seijas on drums and
percussions and Felipe Lamoglia on tenor sax, the personnel list
reads like a "who's who" for the blues world.
Big Poppa E, a 40-year veteran of blues and jazz, was nominated
for the "2008 Blues Song of the Year" by the International
Academy of Independent Artist and "2008 Blues Album of the
Year" by the JPF Music Awards.
The group re-invents the great American blues songbook on "LIVE"
with original compositions and classic blues standards re-arranged
anew by these highly talented performers, musicians, arrangers
and composers.
